Admitted 8th April 1834 Age 22 years. Religious profession a general Baptist,

single woman, has been ill 3 weeks but has made no dangerous attempt the first

attack, it is thought she has hurt herself with [?], Bowels costive, Temper

good, Habits sober and temperate, has shown no tendency to suicide, has been

attended by W. Field, surgeon, has been bled and blistered on the head, has

taken antim sart in the daytime and opiated at nights. Afterwards bathing local

and general – keeping the intestines open.
