History Her first attack of only a few days duration. The attack is attributed to religious excitement. Patient is probably suicidal but not epileptic, or dangerous to others. She has been in service at Chapel Allerton for two years past and so far as the Receiving Officers are aware has been a fairly steady industrious woman. Her general mode of life however is little known to him but her latter career has been characterised by a somewhat erratic disposition and she has attended the service of the Salvation Army and become unduly excited thereby. She is regarded as pregnant by the certifying surgeon. She has been wildly excited on occasions and boisterous: she has refused food believing it to be poisoned. She fancies she hears sounds
